In order to redeem an Access Code or purchase a personal subscription, you will need a MedOne username and password
If your institution subscribes to MedOne you should register for a MedOne account (Home Access). This will enable you to access MedOne from outside of your institutional network, allow you to save notes and highlights, and will provide access to the MedOne app.
Upon registration, you will receive two emails: one confirming your account setup and another that contains an activation link to finalize your account (be sure to check your spam folder). If you do not receive an email within 30 minutes please contact support at: customerservice@thieme.com
Yes! Create a Home Access account to access MedOne content outside your institution’s network. To register for a home access account, you must do so from a device while connected to your institution’s network. Your registration will then be automatically linked to your institution and allow you to access your institution’s licensed MedOne content off campus.
Note: Setting up home access registration must be completed on a device while within your institution’s IP range / network. |
To create your MedOne home access account, click on the “Create Home Access” button on the MedOne home page in the upper right corner. If you have already used your e-mail address or your username to register for a different Thieme product, please log in with your existing user data in this window and continue the registration. This registration step will send you an activation link that connects you to your institution while on IP range so that you will have Home Access.
We recommend users redeem access codes on a computer, not a mobile device. To redeem an access code on MedOne, navigate to the “Enter Access Code” link in the upper right corner and follow the redemption steps. You will need to log in to your MedOne account to redeem an access code, or create an account if you don’t have one (see above). For detailed instructions on redeeming a code please visit our Access Code help page
To change your password, login in with your existing credentials. Once logged in, click on “My MedOne” in the upper left corner.
Navigate to "user profile" in the left navigation, and within your user profile you will find an "Update" button where you can update your profile details, including your password. Select a new password, re-type your password, and click on the save button. This permanently changes your password.
We have dedicated help pages on many topics that allow you to make the most of your MedOne subscription. Please visit the links below for in depth information on each topic
